Who's that girl?

The portrait in the preceding post was based on the following photograph.  I wandered off script for the hair as it wasn't crucial to the likeness.

It's Claire Danes!  Five points.  Now that you've forced me to reveal the original photo you can see how cheap I was in not drawing the floral top.  If you want to be nice to me you can say that this photo isn't a good likeness of her.

as i suspected, i'm still no wiser as to who she was (or, indeed, is) in the first place...
of course, now i see the photo, i realise it was the fact that you changed the teddy bear pendant to a blue droplet thingy to match her earring that threw me...
studying both images, you also seem to have made her nose a little more tweakable and her lips a little more kissable, which is assume is down to artistic licence rather than wishful thinking?

My artistic licence has expired! I can't do anything without having it ratified by committee first.

In hindsight, I don't think my picture has enough contrast in the face, but that doesn't excuse you not knowing who Claire Danes is. Your homework is to watch Baz Luhrmann's Romeo & Juliet.

I like your picture but I must say, it looks nothing like Clairs Danes but then, neither does the photo! (honestly, I wouldn't have guessed)

I really like what you've done with her hair, I've always been a sucker for a red head =)

Yeah, err, what Josh said... I'd have recognised her if the original photograph actually looked like her... What was her most recent film, Stardust? I only vaguely caught a few chunks of that when the kids rented it, and she didn't look like that picture. I didn't think she was that skinny?!?!??

Oh, and please excuse my over use of punctuation at the end there, I don't know what came over me...

I thought it was Alicia Silverstone! Maybe. Sort of. Actually it looked uncannily like a girl in a book I read when I was about 13. (How very interesting for everyone else.)

But the fact remains that it's very, very good.
